IKON Waste Solutions has officially wrapped up Year Two at the Australian Open!
What an incredible five-week service delivery from our Waste division team, providing Waste and Recycling Management solutions at one of Australia’s most iconic major events.
A huge shout out to our team for the exceptional effort delivered day in and day out. From early starts to late-night collections (and patiently waiting for those final matches to wrap up!). Our team worked tirelessly to keep operations running smoothly for collections across the precinct.
Key highlights:
- 💥 1,400+ additional wheelie bins delivered onsite.
- 🌿 250+ 120L organic bins collected every night.
- 🚛 A dedicated fleet of IKON trucks & drivers over 3 weeks, completing 380+ truck movements.
- ♻️ 750,000+ CDS containers successfully collected and delivered to our partners at Envirobank Recycling for recycling.
A huge achievement for the IKON Waste Solutions team, made possible through strong teamwork, seamless coordination, and tireless behind-the-scenes effort. We couldn’t be prouder of the service we delivered.
