NAIDOC Community Day 2024

IKON Services Australia (IKON) celebrated NAIDOC Week this year in collaboration with one of our Community Partners, the Gold Coast Titans, by joining their annual NAIDOC Community Day.

By working and celebrating together, we foster greater connections, deeper understanding, and increased respect for our First Nations Peoples, honouring their enduring strength, vitality, and our shared history.

This year’s event attracted approximately 1800 attendees and featured 30 stalls, showcasing First Nations providers, community services, and a variety of businesses and partners. We were thrilled to be part of this wonderful event!

Participating in NAIDOC Week each year is a key commitment in IKON’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our journey began in 2019 with our Reflect RAP, which we successfully completed in 2023 https://lnkd.in/gDtqAu4m. We are now excited to be working on our first Innovate RAP, in collaboration with our RAP Working Group, Reconciliation Australia, First Nations representatives, and our broader stakeholders.

IKON is committed to working with and empowering First Nations Peoples through partnership, collaboration and providing business opportunities.
