National Sorry Day
On National Sorry Day we acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generation Survivors, we reflect and play our part in the healing process by recognising those who were forcibly removed from their families and communities. We say sorry for the pain, suffering and hurt this caused their descendants and families left behind. We say sorry to the mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters who were broken apart. We say sorry for the indignity and humiliation inflicted on our proud First People who bring with them a rich culture based on togetherness and reverence.
